Hard work during the day, comfort in first class hotels in the evening – that is the WinterRAID 2012

Journalists claim that the WinterRAID is Europe’s hardest winter rally. During the day, the drivers pass several tests on long mountain routes, pitting themselves against snow, ice and severe cold - partly even at night.

However, in the evening they will enjoy the warmth and the wonderful comfort of our hotels: the Kempinski Grand Hotel des Bains in St. Moritz and the new Kempinski Hotel Tirol in Jochberg near Kitzbühel.

This is the WinterRAID: during the day high demands on driving skills, in the evening: relaxing, stocking up on energy, enjoying excellent food, sharing a unique experience with like-minded people.  

You may look forward to a new, totally different WinterRAID.

A very special Winter RAID ambiance

For those looking for a sportive challenge combined with (winterly) driving pleasure, the WinterRAID is a must participate event. Habitués and first time participants quickly form an open, fair and companionable community. Numerous friendships have been formed at this event, across all frontiers: the WinterRAID is a real international rally.

Driving your oldtimer in winter? No problem!

Remember: Even before your car became an oldtimer, did it drive on snow and ice...And the winters in those days were very severe! By the way, nowadays less road salt is used. On request the vehicles may be rinsed in St. Moritz. Furthermore, the participants will receive a technical sheet on winter protection measures before the start.
