Welcome drink and socialising. Klosters Tourism offers the traditional aperitif for all WinterRAID participants who arrive already on Wednesday.

Overnight stay: At special rates in exclusive hotels in Klosters. The Klosters Tourist Office will take care of your hotel reservation. Special arrangements for 1 up to 7 nights.

Mountain valleys, passes and the „White Star of St. Moritz“

9.15 a.m.
Driver’s Briefing. Afterwards scrutineering.

12.00 a.m.
Start of the 6 th WinterRAID

Ravines, mountain valleys, Julier Pass and Maloja Pass. To Pontresina-Montebello for the snow slalom in the glow of fire and with an impressive audience. The journey continues to St. Moritz. Kempinski Grand Hôtel des Bains*****. Then follows the famous outdoor aperitif in the snow-covered park in front of the Hotel Kempinski. The winner of the snow slalom receives the „White Star of St. Moritz“, a prize donated by the tourist office of St. Moritz. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

WHITE STAR OF ST. MORITZ   Includes the special tests in the Engadine as well as the challenging snow slalom on the groomed slopes of Pontresina-Montebello.

The Dolomites!

Berninapass, Passo del Tonale and further, over snow-covered Dolomite passes to the days’ final destination Bolzano. Lunch along the wine route. Dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel Four Points by Sheraton****, Bolzano.

Saturday, January 17 th 2009
Mountain routes, passes – and the ice slalom in Lenzerheide

From Bolzano over less frequented mountain routes to Merano. Over the Ofen Pass and Julier Pass to Lenzerheide. Lunch along the route.

Ice slalom in the village center of Lenzerheide. A large audience will cheer while the vehicles are on their lap. The WinterRAID ends with the traditional cheese fondue and the distribution of prizes. End of the event: approx. 6 p.m.
