Start of the RAID SUISSE-PARIS

On August 23rd 2012 the 22nd RAID starts on the round courtyard at 12:30 sharp – it is one of the largest oldtimer rallies in Europe.   The participating vehicles include many makes and models – a lot of them almost forgotten.   Teams from all parts of Switzerland but also from Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Monaco, Austria, Mexico and the USA will start on a three-day-rally.

Programme

9 - 11 a.m.

Arrival of the vintage cars in Basel Fair, Hall 2. Technical control in Mattenstrasse.

Technical functional check-up by specialists from the PANTHEON BASEL.   PANTHEON BASEL offers each RAID participant a picture of their vehicle. The drivers will receive the photo shortly before they drive on the starting ramp.

11.30 a.m.

Lunchtime in the VIP Lounges.

11.30 - 12.30 a.m.

Showtime in the center court of Basel fair.

12.30 a.m.

Start of the first car via the podium and the "Via Pirelli".

Free entry to the center court.
